What do you guys think about what the Texans did? Kinda dumb, or a decisive change of direction for that franchise? Or...is it somewhere inbetween?

I guess it's fine, but they have a lot of needs. Considering where they are as a team, I probably would have kept the picks and filled some holes. That said, if Stroud and Anderson are the goods, then it was worth it. I have my doubts.

Stupid.

They gave their first next year too which should be a top 5 pick.

I kinda look at the Texans as trading up for Stroud, even tho they technically dealt up for Anderson.

Still a bold decision, one I probably wouldn't have made.

It's a freakin ' weird deal. Don't think I would have done that...but I can see the new regime throwing up their hands and exclaiming, "Why not?"

This second round is going ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLY for the Bears, isn't it? I guess that the Lions are continuing to be stupid, so that's good, but wow...nothing is falling our way.

Now y'all know why I wanted Van Ness at #9...

Ohmygawd...what a shitshow. It just keeps getting worse.

Hopefully Poles is up for this task. As the climb just keeps getting steeper...

Ridiculous overpay IMSO. They just love losing trades with Arizona, I guess.

It's not a new regime, though; Nick Caserio has been there for a few years now.

So...a tacit admission that Gordon was a wasted draft pick. Poles' first pick last year is a bust.

Great!

How? This is Johnson's replacement, on the roster if not in terms of his effectiveness. Not Gordon's.

Getting Vildor to the bench was a top priority.

Might be EJax replacement. ….Or you can never have too many CB.

True; I might like Stevenson a lot more if we called him a safety.

Over a pass rusher?

Oh!

Another DT! When we signed two in free agency, and have already drafted one! Perfect!

Did...did the Raiders just draft the wrong Byron Young?

I don't think so. Lots of DTs off the board, so they needed to take one.

And they took...one.

Well, I'm not sure that they *needed* to take one there. And I'm definitely not sure that Young was the last of his tier. Or that he was the best SEC DT remaining named Young.

Well, the other Young is a pure edge, not a DT.

But I don't disagree that there were other (and, in my opinion, better) options besides the 'bama Young.

Zacch Pickens? I’m just not going to understand that pick with AA on the board.

That’s a weird pick by Poles

No idea what's up with Adebawore, but it's NFL-wide, not just the Bears.

True but no-one has a Defensive Line like the Bears

Pickens is a very one dimensional player, he’s round 4-5 at best, not a pick 64 :frustrated:
