Right now these are the picks we have:

Round 4. 103
Round 4. 133
Round 5. 136
Round 5. 148
Round 7. 218
Round 7. 258

These are My Guys today:

1) Luke Wypler ; I'm going back and forth on who to take at R4 : 1

1a) Dawand Jones ; I don't know where this guy plays on Day 1. Maybe he's on the bench. But oh wow if we could turn him into something. While our starters seem to be set I don't want to pass this guy up.

You guys know about him, but he's 6'8" 374 with 36 3/8" arms. I really don't care what Poles likes / dislikes about OL. People like Jones don't grow on trees. We're going to have injuries or people that don't perform. At a minimum having this guy on the bench is a huge plus. I would be 100% OK taking him at R4 : 1.

3) A.T. Perry. My Guy is still out there.

Bears traded the one top 5th for Stevenson move-up. They still have a lot of draft capital. Last year Poles turned 5 picks into like 11. I don't think he wants/needs that sort of volume against this year but I do now expect him to turn the 5 into 7 or more and shore up in areas where they feel they need to.

Personally I thought they had too many picks, and would trade up more. I mean they did with the one 5th but I meant something more dramatic like getting back up to the top of the 2nd. Didn't happen but I'm happy with the outcome.

I like your guys. The giant RT intrigues the hell out of me - and I'm absolutely fine with moving Wright inside if that guy worked out. He proably doesn't have enough versatility for Poles' taste though. Not sure Wypler does either but man, I want a true center in there. The guy from Michigan is good and also Forsyth. I'm an Illini homer and I don't see Kramer making it - could be wrong.

Andrew Vorhees, OL, USC- dude is injured but thats fine. Gives him a year in the system, but he was probably the top OG in this draft before the injury. A great IOL to get in here for the future.

As a total novice here, I just look at the Best Available list. AA and Ringo have been standing out on that list for almost the entire 3rd round and seem like great value picks for R4. So I'm hoping we go that route. You can't have enough cover guys and with AA, can he play outside? They do list him as a DE.

There's almost certainly something up with Ringo. Character, medical, something.

The secret is to work less as individuals and more as a team. As a coach, I play not my eleven best, but my best eleven.

I want Carter. I'd be happy to take Vorhees and let him recover/redshirt for a year.

DE Andre Carter II
OL Andrew Vorhees
2023 Preseason Downside prediction:
5-6 wins, never really healthy all season, a constant shuffling.
We're potentially in a position to draft in the Top 5 again, depending on the Carolina team, and probably have a low-teens (or better) pick ourselves.
