That's the way the ball bounces. If you miss your slot then the draft continues without you. No need to feel guilty about making the pick. Missing a pick in the first round is a very generous way of giving other teams an opportunity to improve.

I also email everyone it's there pick if I see that it's their pick before they have (most of you pick before I get that chance).

I didn’t but after Brady retired my only other option on my team is Baker Mayfield. 😂

With the 18th pick Eskimo Brothers select CJ Stroud QB Texans.

Roster space conundrum is resolved, but still interested in trading up or out.

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

That took 12 hours to figure out? This slow motion draft drives me nuts. lol

Sith Lords went on the clock at 2 am. I was checking at 3 hoping they would pick someone other than Johnson and I was going to get him.

Yea I wanted him too and thought about it, but with Fields I figured I need a quality backup cause he'll likely miss a few games and Dak was too good to pass up. I figured Rochon would be gone shortly after.

Yeah I was considering him too for sure. I imagine most Bear fans were. I thought it was a little high to draft him, but was thinking about it as a handcuff to Juice.

For the life of me I don't understand how it takes SO long for people to make a pick. Most drafts take hours not weeks - especially dynasty rookie drafts with only a few rounds. Unless there are trade discussions in the background it should be pretty straight-forward & take just a few minutes to pick. I don't know if it is analysis paralysis, or people half checked out.

Dak was super high value there. I was going to take him if he was still available.

My view on him was it was too high in any league that wasn't dominated by Bears Fan. Also, this is in essence the 14th round of the draft when you factor in keeper and if this wasn't a keeper league it would be too high as well. I think by the end of the year he could be the 1A back but will still have lots of rotation. I've got Jacobs and Swift, so I don't need a RB this year as bad, but was looking towards next year.

I love the kid, and I love his quote from yesterday "I use my body as a weapon"... I mean, how friggin' awesome is that?! But I still think he's an HBack I really do.

Sometime my heart makes be takes guys before I should or pass on them when I shouldn't. I don't know who it's harder for me to pass on - guys who play for Green Bay, Minnesota or Dallas.

In my other draft I have the second pick and may have to take Jefferson.

Since Clean Out Urlacher destroyed my plan to have Roschon ride the pine until being a factor next year, I had to look as see what other RB was out there that could maybe fill that roll. Derrick Henry is 29 and will be 30 at the start of next year. He takes a pounding and he can't play forever. I was impressed watching Tyjae Spears in our preseason game, so I'll add him.

If Jefferson doesn't go first, somebody is out of their ever-loving mind.

Sith Lords take Sam La Porta, TE with 25 via ESPN. With Tyjae Spears at 26 looks to be Rednecks up.

Last 3 picks couldn't have gone any worse for my plan. :frustrated:
