After ten weeks we have seen the Bears claw their way back to play .500 football and now using the rest of the season to see if Fields will be the answer at QB. What has been the biggest surprise to you for the other teams in the NFL?

- Buffalo at .500
- AFC North one game separating bottom from top team, and Cincinnati at the bottom
- Eagles the only one loss team, with the Lions close behind with two losses
- 49ers and Seahawks tied for the top at 6-3
- Broncos current three game win streak, including wins against KC and Buffalo
- Vikings 5 game win streak

I'll have to go with the Vike-Dobbs reeling off five wins, especially since they lost Cousins and Jefferson yet are still winning. Can Dobbs utilize Jefferson once he returns? Will this be it for Cousins in Minny-soda? Also somewhat head scratching - the Vikes defense is not all that special after losing some starters from last season, yet they have dialed up blitzes that seem to be effective.
Steelers at 6-3 is my other head-scratcher. They have a good but not great defense and have trouble scoring points, yet they keep winning games.
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

Bills are something. The window was last year and this year. Going forward, who knows. They've got a lot of mental hurdles to overcome and maybe they need a different coach. Lots of mistakes and infighting are leading to their demise.

AFC North was always going to be a meat grinder. Browns have a tremendous defense, Cincy's still pretty good, the Steelers win in spite of themselves, and the Ravens are overcoming a sluggish start and may be the team to beat in the NFL the rest of the way.

Eagles are unspectacularly keeping a tidy house. They may not be as good as their record indicates, but they're still the likely NFC winners barring a meltdown or injury parade.

I always feel like the 49ers are walking along the edge of a knife. There's so much talent and solid coaching, a team that's used to success and knows how to achieve it, but there's always That Something that brings them down along the way, usually just a single moment or injury.

The Seahawks and Lions are both very easy to root for. Feel-good stories and teams that fight hard for every win. Plus not having Russell Wilson is a perk.

Broncos annoy the hell out of me, so not much to say about them.

Vikings and Dobbs is something special too. Between the Lions and Dobbs-Vikings the NFC North has a couple charming teams to root for if you're a Bears fan drowning in frustration and boredom.

I also thought the Ravens were the team to beat, but then they laid that egg Sunday against big rival Cleveland starting a gimpy QB. The Ravens did have a sluggish start this season and I think it shows the value of good coaching for them to put it together. They still can't execute the plays on the field - that's up to the players.

One other surprise I forgot to mention was the Houston Texans. They went from worst record in the league (with the Bears beating them yet Lovie doing the Bears a solid at the end of the season), cleaning house and using the draft to bring in cornerstone players at QB and DL. They've made the Panthers look stupid with their QB selection and are sitting at 5-4.

I think the "the something" with the Niners is that they completely rely on health. They have like...ZERO depth. As long as no one is out for an extended period, they can be a freight train.

It's nice to see the Lions do well. They are fun to watch, and even though Dan Campbell is kind of a doofus, it's in that goofy loveable way.

The Texans have been fun too. I don't think anyone expected anything from them this year.

I don't think I expected the Colts to be .500 at the halfway mark. I really thought it would be a tough year for them.
