We'll try to play physical but this should be the equivalent of getting taken behind the woodshed and getting whooped

This morning on the NBC local news all of the women were in leather.
We're gonna get slammed. I don't know what the spread is, but I'm inclined to take the Lions and lay the points in a division game.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".
This will be litmus for us and we're not gonna test well.

I think the healthy oline will give Fields a chance to do something but I don't think he'll overcome the combination of rust, soreness in his thumb, and terrible playcalling. The defense, meanwhile, is going to get NO pressure and generally struggle against the Lions passing attack.
This is the first really good team that we've played in a while. We're going to get smoked on a whole new level, and the Lions will firmly plant their Kitty-Cat flag at the top of the NFC North.
This one gets ugly fast. The Bears OL will not hold up to the Lions pass rush, and the secondary will have our receivers blanketed. DJ Moore will be a non-factor as a) he'll be double covered, and b) he's the third read in a Getsy offense. The Bears defense will be exposed. the safeties and LB's will get torched. David Montgomery gets his "Fuck You Bears" game and runs for 150 yards. Bears get a TD in garbage time.
I know we are likely to get curbied in this game, but I will offer this small glimmer of hope.
Our run defense is good. And the Lions are a running team, which opens up their pass game. And their defense is ok, but I think we can run in them. Lloyd Christmas says there’s a chance.
Monty has a head full of revenge and the Lions are roaring this year. Don't scoff at the Goff. I expect Fields to start and make it feel more competative than it is.
If Fields starts this one is gonna be laughable at how bad the beating is. Like, the team shouldn't even take the field because they are going to be beat so badly. It will be embarrassing.
Bears win 47-0!
Sucks being a Lions fan. They will always be the shit team in this division until they erase a century of ineptitude.
