Could see the SEC shut out of the playoffs for the first time if Florida State wins.

I'm hoping Iowa upsets Michigan, Harbaugh resigns tomorrow after he doesn't win a college championship, and the Bears fire Flus and hire Harbaugh on Monday.

I dunno, that (lone) pick that Ewers threw was Glennon-esque.

The rest of his game was fine, mind you.

Ewers has promise. He's so skinny, tho. Like one good hit could break him in two.

Leaving undefeated FSU out of the playoffs because they dont have a QB is the right call (for those of us who just want to watch fun, competitive football).

Makes the regular season trivial and really means that CFB needs a relegation system and two conferences.

Florida State's only big win was against LSU in week 1.

Michigan at 1 can't really be contested.

Washington is undefeated and they beat Oregon twice.

Alabama just beat the #1 team in the country who hadn't lost a game in years.

Texas beat Alabama. The problem with Texas is the loss to Oklahoma. I think this is Florida State's best argument, but at the same time Texas did beat Alabama.

It's one of those things. Only four teams can get in. There's always going to be a case for Team #5 to get in. If they expanded it to 10 Teams, there'd be the same argument about Team #11.

Florida State got screwed. Rodemaker was a game time decision. He’ll be healthy come playoff time, but because they won with the wrong guy at QB, so they’re out? Louisville was putting up over 30 points a game going in, and FSU held them to 6, won by double digits, stayed undefeated, and won the ACC.

Texas is above Bama because they beat them, but at the same time Bama was outplayed by Auburn and barely had more than 10 points vs South Florida. Like, either the regular season matters or it doesn’t.

At least next year the playoffs will be expanded to 12 teams and these scew jobs should be eliminated.

FSU had the most wins vs top 25 in college football, won the ACC undefeated and head to head the ACC spanked the SEC this year.

This was pure SEC/Alabama favoritism.

They had the most wins this year vs top 25, according to the announcers last night

Alabama was 4-1 against the top 25. Wins against Mississippi, Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia. Then the loss against Texas.

I'm not seeing where Florida State had more. Maybe it was top 25 at the time of the game? IDK.

Could be.

What will really be funny is if they beat Georgia, the. The CFP selection committee will really look like morons.

But it will be a moot point next season with the expansion.

The FCS does and has done a much better job with their playoff system. They take 24 teams and it is awesome. They take 11 conference winners and 13 at large teams. If they can do this why can't the big boys?

Didn’t want to start another thread, helluva an FCS playoff game going right now. Montana v Furman. Good hard hitting game. Been a couple big plays from each team. Little snow getting mixed in as well.

South Dakota St, defending champs, advance to semifinals with a win over Villanova.

North Dakota St, Rockbear's team, is putting the hurt on #3 South Dakota. NDSU is the only unranked team left in the FCS playoffs.

South Dakota St for sure. Goedert (Philly) and Craft (GB). Craft is coming on a bit.

There is some talent at that level. What I like about it is there is not so much transferring and NIL BS at that level.

If Michigan somehow scrapes up a win Monday night against the University of Washington (go Huskies), will that influence Harbaugh in going to the pros? I think it might.
