OK everybody.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one.

A guy walks into Home Depot and asks a guy in the Garden Department if he knows anything that doesn’t die.

He responds, “Yeah, my mother-in-law.”

Speaking of my mother-in-law I must’ve been a good boy lately because her birthday is coming up and my wife didn’t even bother asking me if I wanted to go to the lunch to “celebrate” it.

You should go...(sneak ahead of time, hide in the parking lot, and fake a car jack since she's so weird about restaurant parking lot safety)

I guess that attempt to poison her birthday lunch last year wasn't altogether a failure then. ;)

Ha ha......if this guy took the time to produce this all I can say, and it took just 2:30 to come to a conclusion that, he's worried and therefore they're worried that we got it right this time. His list of 25 QBs has only a few QBs who were highly drafted and none before CW were a consensus overall #1 pick in their draft. Not even Trubisky and we now know that was the biggest blunder of the Pace era.

No Bears team prior to this has ever invested in both the offensive coaching staff and the offensive skill players needed to assure a rookie QB the very best chance to succeed and succeed quickly. So in this instance a dependency on the past to analyze and predict the future is a pretty useless exercise. But that's OK. I hope this guy and the Cheeseheads go right on thinking this way. I really do.

They're whistling as they walk past the graveyard of their former dominance.

I don't think that guy understands what the phrase "rounding out" means,

He had Rex Grossman ranked higher than Kyle Orton.

Since 2002, 15 QBs have been taken #1 in the draft. Their record in their first game? 0-15 (Kyler Murray did tie Detroit in his first game). Here's a streak Caleb needs to break.

Those 15 QBs did not have the players around them. Usually terrible teams get 1st round picks
This is a very unusual situation...

Wow. Add that an another record CW will have. I think I’m up to about 57 now.

Here's yet one more for Caleb to break. Of QBs taken #1, only Andrew Luck in 2012 surpassed more than 6 wins his first season.

If you count the post season he’ll triple that.

It's hard to envision Caleb playing and the Bears not getting 7 this year.
Luck's 11 will be hard to topple, though.

No, nor Odunze.

I did see a suggestion they'll wait until Hard Knocks to capture the moment.

In the past 2 years, the Bears lead the league with 28 games of less than 200 yards passing, a dubious distinction. Pittsburgh, New England, Baltimore, and New England are also in the top 10. Fields was the starting QB for 18 of those games. With all the guys brought in, with Waldron as OC, those games should be much fewer:

Nah... I think they will want him signed by the time Hard Knocks starts filming.

And not that I'm distrusting of manufactured reality-tainment, but it wouldn't surprise me if the NFL is asking them to "postpone" announcing anything to create a buzz for the show.

More drama queen bullshit from the media. As if Caleb and Odunze won’t sign. Seriously. I’m better off going back to my alien fix which has been amazing this time; as usual.

At least they weren't so bad they appear in the top 10 twice like New England! ;)

I’m your hook up brother.

I just went through some older JREs. Check out anything with Jeremy Corbell. Especially the ones with George Knapp and Bob Lazar. Another JRE is with Commander David Fravor. David Grusch.

On Prime Video go with Unacknowledged. Out Of The Blue. Moment Of Contact. I love anything made by Dr. Steven Greer. I’ve seen all of those.

Another Prime Video is ETs Among Us. It’s like a six part deal or something. Movie length. I’ve seen all of those.

Google Ariel School Zimbabwe. That interaction with aliens was great. That might be my favorite UFO event out of all of them.

Apparently the pre-draft rumour that Caleb wanted an ownership stake in a team was a simple miscommunication that came about when he said "I want to own the Packers".

I can't figure out how to get the link to the video from the piece (if I could I'd just post that). But this has a video of CW from the Giants Hard Knocks from the combine where he goes over a play. They cut and pasted it so you miss out on some what he says that I would have like to have seen.

From Finley's accompanying article in the Sun Times:
Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has yet to sign his rookie contract, but he’s very much a Bear.

That was apparent Saturday, when coach Matt Eberflus, general manager Ryan Poles, receiver DJ Moore and even longtime equipment manager Tony Medlin were in attendance when Williams presented Caleb Cares Hero Awards in the Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center in Pullman.
...

Students from CPS high schools watched Saturday while Williams saluted those among them who demonstrated kindness and respect, which discourages bullying. He was introduced by Mayor Brandon Johnson, who said Williams was ‘‘demonstrating his love for humanity,’’ and Ald. Michelle Harris.

The winning students received footballs, which Williams happily threw into the stands.

‘‘A big reason why I started is to help out in areas where I would say it’s needed — or where it’s shown, percentage-wise, it’s needed,’’ said Williams, who also has honored students in Los Angeles and his hometown of Washington as part of Caleb Cares. ‘‘It’s huge for me to start in places that I can be or have been [in] and be able to reach and use my platform to reach people. So it’s great to start it here in Chicago.’’
