Don't mistake sports teams for someone who gives a dang:

Can't wait to see ticket prices at the new Bears stadium.
Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Bears season tickets are going up 6.2 to 11.3% for 2024:

My last game at Soldier Field was 12/3/17 v San Fran. Tickets were dirt cheap (took two of my kids, wife, nephew and bro in law) on the secondary market because the Bears sucked (finished 5-11). Robbie Gould kicked the winning FG for the 9ers to win the game. I believe that might have also been Garopolo's first start for them.

The highlight of the day, aside from a helluva return by Tarik Cohen was the beautiful weather. Had to be about 60 which was a shocker.

I have been priced out since.

My last game at Soldier Field was 12/11/2008 vs the Saints. Danieal Manning returned the opening kickoff for a TD. Maynard dropped a dime on a fake punt pass that was unjustly ruled incomplete.

Bears won in OT. It was an awesome game.

Now whenever the Bears play the Cowboys I try to go, but jeeeezus...it's 300 bucks a ticket to get decent seats at Jerry's World.

I've been to two Bears games:
In 2009 vs. the Favre-led Vikings in late December. Freezing cold the entire game, but a thriller of a game with a walk-off OT TD from Cutty to Devin Aromashadu (I'm not going to look up how to spell that).
In 2010 vs. the Packers. Close game throughout, but Hester's punt return late and a PI call set the Bears up for the big win. Unfortunately, we all know how that season ended up, but at least I saw them beat the Packers at home.

I remember tickets being kind of expensive, but not ridiculous. My wife took me to the first one, so I don't know how much she paid, and I took a guy in my wedding party to the second. He's a big Packer fan and I'm glad we didn't get in a fight (he can be a hothead and people were being dicks to him most of the night).

Wait till people see how much they spike for a brand new, expensive stadium.

(Plus you get to repay for the right to buy season tickets, too!)

My last Bears game was sometime in the early 90s.
I doubt I'll catch one in the spaceship.

Typically, every few years we try to go in Minneapolis, usually when the Vikings suck so tickets are much cheaper.
