Averages about 600 yards a season…about the same YPG and YPC as Herbert.
He’s a better receiver out of the backfield and averages more touchdowns per year. So that’s good. Ranks worse than Herbert as a blocker.
I don’t know what moves the needle here, other than he’s Herbert without the injury.
Looking at season average takes out the significant uptick from Swift's most recent year. Obviously that's down to carries but it was done with good yards per attempt and he's shown he's up to it.
The apparent poor pass blocking is a concern but hopefully Waldron has a plan to mitigate that... and I guess if he was a good pass blocker on top of being a good rusher and receiver he'd be costing more than he did.
