As much as I can't stand that guy, this sucks for anyone and is sad news.

It definitely sucks.
Don't hate him at all for being good while cashing a paycheck from a different town.
Do hate him for stealing from Mississippi welfare fund and then trying to weasel out of paying it back.

On that basis, I don't know that I'm going to be able to summon any sympathy.

Yep..don't wish this on anyone.
My Dad had Alzihemers and died in living with us.
Favre is young and may be able to deal with this better than many..

dropping a parkinson's bomb during his fraud trial feels pretty calculated and shitty to me

It is - but you have to have that Card to play first - Which is kind of the bigger part of the suck

Football-wise, he was a tough nut to crack who owned the Bears for the most part. Off the field he was a great storyteller, OK ambassador of the game. As a person he made a lot of awful decisions that negatively impacted many lives beyond his own.

Parkinson's is sadistic, and I wish him well with it. I hope he also faces justice for his crimes.

Sad for anyone going through such a destructive illness.

A reminder to everyone to make the most of every moment you’re here.

Good luck Brett

Never happy to hear/read about someone being inflicted with such a disease. Yeah, he's a probably fraudster but he has also donated lots of bucks to kids in his home state.

But with HIPPA it ain’t his Dr announcing it and if I’m not mistaken Dr can’t say if he doesn’t but is claiming he does. Seems calculated or fabricated. If true feel bad for him like anyone else.

But not nearly as much as he’s stolen from the needy kids. Lot of bucks to kids that were athletes, particularly at his alma mater, for sure.

At least he can afford treatment, unlike a poor person in Mississippi with this condition.
A new Era begins in the NFC North!

Happily, it finally involves the Bears.... :toast: :headbang: :transform: :jump:

I can’t make myself like him just because he has a horrible disease. He’s still a complete turd of a human being, just a sick turd now.

agreed

he is an attention seeking whore trying to divert attention away from the fact he is a lifelong shitbag

I won't believe he is actually ill until/unless he dies from what he claims to have

Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Tommy Kramer has been diagnosed with dementia, he announced on social media.

Kramer said he was inspired to share about his condition after the revelation Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre made Tuesday during a congressional hearing that he has Parkinson's disease. Kramer said his doctors told him at his one-year checkup that the dementia hasn't advanced and that he has stopped consuming alcohol to better cope with it.
