Centennial at Memorial and Red Grange smiles as all us Alumni.
Great defense..trick punt..awesome.
I watched from sitting with my wife in physical rehab. She fell down three steps and out to our rocky drive helping grandson on bus and broke her right femur completely split
Emergency surgery with titanium rod to join severed femur..bolts and screws..
When she fell ..not one cry or tear..Just call 911.
Lots of heart but her running 5Ks and maybe jogging may be gone or well delayed.
Sylvia is one tough 71 year old..looks 50 too
Illinois beats Michigan !!

Damn, Docc - I am glad you got to see the Illini take down Michigan, but sorry you had to see it under those circumstances. Hoping for a quick recovery!

It won't be quick..but I need to make our home accessible for her. When I designed the home we had entry way three steps to front door//then two steps down in three direction (kitchen..one of the living rooms..and a formal.. I did make a one level large "play room" for the kids..now grown..french doors from our bedroom to Kitchen..and living rooms and another bathroom. Just clearing out grandsons toy etc so she can get around..

My mother's love was inexplicably linked to kickball.

Oh, Doc, so sorry to hear. I hope she makes a full recovery, I know you'll do everything you can to help her along.
Great game, I watched most of it. Very impressive Illini team. Who would ever imagine that Illinois vs. Indiana might be a key Big 10 game?

The Illini will play and beat #1 Oregon this afternoon in a big statement game.
Edit: Well, it's 35-3 Oregon. Guess it ain't happening. Having lived in WA state for a long time and rooting against the Ducks, it's tough to see them at #1 but they deserve it so far.
