OG in college but the reports on him seem to indicate he will maybe move to center in the NFL.
CAREFUL!!!, did @HisRoyalSweetness sign off on this!?Arkansasbear wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 9:52 amOG in college but the reports on him seem to indicate he will maybe move to center in the NFL.
Did not know this, so thanks. The fact that he played at center at some point makes me feel a little better.EricTighe wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:19 am Zabel also played center in highschool. he said playing Center is like riding a bike.

In the past, some of the guys, when they've had a good week, get "injured" before the game. Lately some guys have just been going home without the pretense when they've had a good week of practice.cblaz11 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 4:19 pm Zabel was getting owned by the LSU DT
What’s up with Mike Green leaving? I caught some of McShays podcast and he seemed pretty annoyed
Are you familiar with the Batman-related TV show named Gotham?
Lolthunderspirit wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 3:28 pmYeah, I might be wrong (I certainly have been before), but Dart looks that way to me.Rusty Trombagent wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 1:22 pm
As an extremely casual CFB enjoyer, I'm always curious about who's going to be the QB that suddenly during the draft process everyone goes "actually, this guy's way better than everyone thought." Jaxson is who my money has been on.
Agree although I'm more up on a top DE rather than a DT. Campbell seems to be a no-brainer. Play him inside for a year if desired, move him to LT if Brax isn't retained after the season.cblaz11 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:09 pm 3 QBs going top 10 is huge for us.
It’s very early..but as of now I’m taking Will Campbell or mason Graham if either fall to us.
Green is a guy that just scars me for some reason.cblaz11 wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 2:34 pm So I’ve spent a lot of time watching the first round edge guys after Carter
Love Scourton but he doesn’t look in the best of shape…Not a deal breaker but def something to dive deeper on.
I’ve loved Mike Green for a while but 10th overall is too high
Williams from GA has the ideal size and traits..but I don’t know if he has the natural feel of a 12 sack player
One guy who really intrigues me at DT…Walter Nolan. As of now, he’s considered a later 1 guy at best…I watched a lot of his tape today and was impressed. Violence..quick twitch, leverage…nasty,
Long story short..I want to take a D or O linemen at 10…only guys I think are worthy of that slot..in order of preference.
Campbell
Graham
Banks
Nolan (crazy but he’s going to climb IMO)
Only non linemen that I think might be there at 10 I’m interested in is Tet McMillian. If hes there, we have to seriously look at him.
That said, there’s serious options for in the second at both line spots.

Fair he could be win out the risk-reward analysis if he's there in the second. No way 10 and don't even think I would if we traded back in the 1st.cblaz11 wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:59 am
As of now, I wouldn’t take him at 10. My love for him would be the 2nd or after.

You should just give that money to Teddy KGB thenRusty Trombagent wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 1:22 pmAs an extremely casual CFB enjoyer, I'm always curious about who's going to be the QB that suddenly during the draft process everyone goes "actually, this guy's way better than everyone thought." - Jaxson Dart (Mississippi) is, in my opinion, QB2 in this draft behind Cam Ward (Miami/Wash St/Incarnate Word). (I think Shadeur Sanders is basically Teddy Bridgewater – nothing wrong with that, but not a difference-maker.) Will Howard (Ohio St/Kansas St) looks like a quality career backup QB; Riley Leonard (Notre Dame/Duke) sometimes seems like might be a bit more than that, and other times like he might be less. Keep an eye on Seth Henigan (Memphis); he won the starting job as a true freshman and 50 starts later has shown enough tools to stick somewhere and earn a shot, kind of in the Jimmy Garropolo mold.
Great post .....I'll have my Senior Bowl posts soon (takes so much time)thunderspirit wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:42 pm I didn't catch the whole game due to family obligations, just (parts of) the second half.
Gray Zabel looked okay in the second half. Not at the same level he was in practice most of the week, but fine. I read he had a rough sequence in the first half with LSU defensive lineam (and potential future Bear DE) Sai'vion Jones.
The guy who probably helped himself the most during the Senior Bowl time was Jack Bech. I'm a little leery of guys who have one good season (at age 22) with not much flash before then. But late bloomers are A Thing, too.
Landon Jackson had a pretty good game, also after an up-and-down week of practice. Similarly, Wyatt Milum had a solid game, from the parts I saw. That helped remove the taste of a tough week of practice for him as well, trying to learn a new position.
Jonah Savaiinaea looked like a bully at RG, Azareye’h Thomas looked like a first-round pick, and Elijah Arroyo ran like he was a wide receiver (his injury history is a long one, though).
250 is already with the weight added in fairnesscblaz11 wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:58 am He’s 6-3 250…
Myles Garret is 6-4, 272
Micah Parsons is 6-4, 240
He played with his hand in the dirt a lot…and he has the frame to add 10lbs of muscle without losing speed. We’re not talking about Leonard Floyd here..he plays with a combo of speed and size.
I hear you on our current DCs likes…But this guy can absolutely play 4-3 DE.
I have talked up Walker in the past.cblaz11 wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 2:47 pm My ideal scenario as of now ( It’s early)
Campbell at 10- Play at OG for first year or two with thought of maybe moving to LT long term. Outside of elite talent, he’s a leader that we need on that line.
Deone Walker and Mike Green in the 2nd. Lots of dlinemen that will be there, this is my top option. Jack Sawyer could be another option
