Didn't watch any games last spring. Don't know how many players signed with the NFL for the '24 season and if any had an impact. Nonetheless, the league had good success and is looking to build on it for the future:

I never watch these 2nd tier football things for very long, but I'm always hypnotized for maybe 3-30 minutes at a stretch, upon channel surfing across recognizable NFL names (particularly at QB), trying to resurrect their careers (or maybe even just continuing to play because they love the game).

I watched. Had friend with a team so that was reason I did. But in dead zone previously for me, enjoyed that and WNBA more than I thought I would.

I will just never be able to get into these spring leagues without a rooting interest, because everytime i give it a try it's just bad football... and I mean, we live and breathe bad football here in Chicago! But without something in the back of my head telling me to support my team no matter what, I just cant.
And I've dug through rosters, looked at coaches, trying to form some connection. Nothing there. If there was a Chicago (or Maine!) team I would 100% lock in, but for now I just cant.

A little off topic but that's how I am with football in general. I have absolutely no interest in watching other teams play and I can't remember ever having watched a full game that didn't involve the Bears. I guess I am more a Bears fan than a football fan.Rusty Trombagent wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 10:33 am I will just never be able to get into these spring leagues without a rooting interest, because everytime i give it a try it's just bad football... and I mean, we live and breathe bad football here in Chicago! Interesting. I enjoy watching well-played football and so have spent the better part of this past season watching other teams while skipping many Bears games.
